Our Heritage.

The Oromo are one of the largest nations in the Horn of Africa, with a language, Afaan Oromoo, spoken by tens of millions, and a governance tradition, Gadaa, inscribed by UNESCO as a living heritage of humanity.

Our heritage isn't a period piece. It's Gadaa's rotating leadership, the Irreecha thanksgiving, the songs of Hachalu, and a diaspora that grew up carrying all of it.

Every piece we make cites one of these, a word, a name, a place, and every archive entry we publish exists to explain why.
